Put a screwdriver on your valve cover, then touch the grip to your ear canal. That's basically what it's like driving with solid bushings. It takes the fun out of driving it. I consider myself to be pretty tolerant of driving extremes, and I wouldn't consider solid bushings. And to clarify, AL bushings increase harshness because they remove the bushing element. There is no more bushing, all the gear noise is now metal-to-metal throughout your chassis. Not only is it loud to drive, but it's harsh on your entire chassis and will cause things to rattle and sound chintzy over time.
